The glasses go to the best answer from someone who does not already own a pair.
Who can enter
Anyone running COS. That means one of two things: you have a GotCOS account and you have built your Chief of Staff, or you are already running the open-source glasses server. Either one counts.
That rule does the work. Everyone who enters has already done the thing the product is for, so the answers come from real use instead of wishful thinking. If you are not running COS yet, the fastest path in is to go build one. It is free and it takes a few minutes.
Why it is not a raffle
Because a raffle tells you nothing and produces nothing. Every entry here is a real idea from someone who already knows what the system does, which means the winning answers are buildable, and the whole shortlist becomes a public library of things worth stealing.
What we do with the entries
Shortlisted entries go in a permanent gallery on this page, with credit. The winner gets their setup recorded as a proper walkthrough. You pick public or private when you submit. There is no default, you have to choose, and a private entry can still win.

Answer

For people already running COS on the G2. Show one real moment instead of describing one.
- Evidence of a real workflow, in any of the four formats below.
- Three to five sentences: what you asked, what came back, what you did next.
- Submitted as a link, not an upload.
Prize: a featured case study on this page, a recorded session, and setup or accessory credit. You already have the glasses, so we are not sending you a second pair.
How to capture a Proof entry.
The G2 has no camera, so nobody is filming from inside the lens. Here is what actually works.
Screen record your phone
The COS companion app on your phone shows the same exchange the lens does. A screen recording of one real ask and answer is the cleanest evidence there is.
Capture the simulator
The Even Hub simulator renders the actual lens view on your desktop. Run your real query through it and record the frame.
Record COS Control
A desktop capture of Control, your Work Folder, or the terminal shows the harness side of the workflow. Good for setups where the interesting part is what COS reached for.
A photo and the transcript
Simplest option. A photo of you wearing them, plus the verbatim ask and answer pasted in. No video editing at all.

Each tier is scored only on what it can actually show. Nobody gets marked down for a criterion their entry format cannot satisfy.

- Whether someone can watch it and rebuild it the same afternoon.

The challenge goes live the day the flagship video drops, and runs for fourteen days. Leave your email and we will tell you the morning it opens, which is the only thing this list is for. If you already know what yours would say, leave that too.

In the meantime, the fastest way to have a strong entry is to actually be running COS. Start there.
The rules, short version.

- Who can enter. Anyone 18 or older who is running COS, either through a GotCOS account or the open-source glasses server. Void where prohibited.
- One entry per person. Duplicate or spam entries are removed.
- The hardware prize goes to an Answer-tier entrant who does not already own Even glasses. Proof-tier entrants compete for the feature, the recorded session, and credit.
- No purchase necessary. Entering is free and buying nothing improves your odds.
- We verify the shortlist, not the whole pool. Before anything is announced we confirm shortlisted entrants are real COS users. Nobody gets congratulated and then disqualified.
- Public or private is a required choice, not a default. You pick when you submit. A private entry is never published, is judged the same, and can win.
- Public entries can be republished with credit. By submitting a public entry you give GotCOS permission to show, edit, and share it, and you confirm you have the right to share what is in it.
- Redact before you submit. Do not send anything containing confidential material, client information, or another person who has not agreed to appear.
- Judging is by the published rubric above, scored by the GotCOS team. Decisions are final.
- Prize value may be reportable. If the prize value requires tax paperwork in your country we will tell you before shipping.
